Updates with another girl

Taz has gone to the bridge. She developed a systemic infection from chewing on her tail and when tested was still heartworm positive. She was not doing well and the decision was made for her to have the peace in her life she so desired. Say a prayer for Taz.

On a happy note Deena has a home when weaned with a pup to keep her company. The pups had their first worming today. They were 2 weeks old Monday. They are walking all over the pen. Eyes and ears are open and boy can they travel. We had to put blankets in the outer run as they prefer to be there instead of inside where it is much warmer. Boy how time flies. They will be ready to go to new homes at 8 weeks old. They will go on foster contracts at that time once they pass their vet checks, and have their first shots. They will be fosters until spayed and neutered. They are absolutely adorable and have discovered that they have voices. OOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Twister was spayed and is recovering today from surgery.
Sadie went to her new home.
Gizmo was returned due to him experiencing cluster seizures. We are hoping to get them under control and find him a loving home. Any one interested? Foster or adoption?
Ricky has lots of applications but is still here at this time. What a kid he is. Training is the word needed there.
Olivia is still baring teeth and not allowing anyone near her. Time will tell.
Callie is waiting for the closing on her new home.
That's all for now folks.

Deena has 4 girls and 3 boys. So far so well. What a proud mom.

UPDATES
Sophie has been adopted and Jada is in her new home too. We are thrilled.

TRUCKER was seen by Cornell today for a follow up. His screws and pins have broken and the cement is all that is holding his cervical bones in alignment. There is a screw migrating towards his spinal cord and if it causes any issues he will require additional surgery. We are saying a prayer that he will not need additional surgery. Other than this he is doing very well. Please keep him in your prayers.

Another new girl--
JADA- This is a pretty black and tan female . Jada has been spayed, updated on all shots and is heartworm negative. She will also be microchipped. She lost her home due to her owners breaking up. Until coming to us she has been living in a garage for the past few months. Jada is a lovely female who as most needs some training.
